2010 Annual Report
Protect. Strengthen. Empower.
We are very pleased to share with you the 2010 Annual Report of Catholic Charities of Buffalo, N.Y., spotlighting the legacy of 70 human service programs serving children, seniors and families in need across the eight counties of Western New York.
Established in October 1923 by the Diocese of Buffalo, Catholic Charities has enjoyed 86 years of service to our community. The focus of this report is to share some specific ways in which our organization provides protection, strength and empowerment to individuals, families and youth. We are grateful to our former clients who shared their stories, each different, but with the same outcome of hope and promise. These captivating stories are among so many successes attained each year, inspiring Catholic Charities to continue its mission to empower individuals, children and families to achieve and maintain meaningful, healthy and productive lives. We also remain proud of the fact that we continue to be excellent stewards of our financial resources, by continuing to operate a very cost-effective organization, as evidenced by our very low administrative and fundraising costs.
