BUFFALO, N.Y., May 12, 2010 – Catholic Charities is looking for adult volunteers to assist with sorting, stocking and preparing food for distribution at its four food pantries in Buffalo and Lackawanna.
Hours and days vary by pantry location but volunteers can choose to help as little as four hours each week. Specifically, volunteers are needed to perform the following tasks: sort and arrange food, stock shelves and package food items for client distribution, and assist with deliveries (carrying boxes of food from vehicle into building).
