BUFFALO, N.Y. - Bishop Edward U. Kmiec, Bishop of the Diocese of Buffalo and chairman of the Catholic Charities of Buffalo Board of Trustees, announced the appointment of two members to the Catholic Charities Board of Trustees.
The new trustees are Eileen Koteras Elibol and Paul Snyder.
Elibol is senior graphic designer, staff photographer, program host and television personality at WNED-TV, and Snyder is chief executive officer of Snyder Corporation.
Elibol has been an enthusiastic fund-raiser for public television and radio for more than 28 years, and was co-host of WNED’s popular cooking show, Plain & Fancy Cooking. Elibol also serves on the boards of the Kosciuszko Foundation, WNY Chapter, as well as the board of the Permanent Chair of Polish Culture at Canisius College.
Elibol holds a Master’s degree in Communication Design from the University at Buffalo and in 2003 was awarded the YWCA Leader Award for Marketing. She is a past recipient of two Am-Pol Eagle Newspaper Annual Citizen of the Year Awards in the categories of Art and Media.
Elibol resides in Kenmore with husband Dr. Tarik Elibol.
Snyder’s corporation is a diverse holding company with interest in commercial hospitality, transportation, parking and real estate development. With more than 21 years experience in the business, his company includes SunPark, Inc., the leading airport parking service and Olympic Management Services, leading provider of commercial hospitality in Western New York.
Snyder holds a bachelor’s degree from the Cornell School of Hotel Administration and studied in the Henry Crown Fellowship Program - Aspen Institute and the Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership of the UB School of Management. In addition, in 2003 he was ordained a Permanent Deacon by the Diocese of Buffalo and serves St. Mary Parish in Swormville and as a chaplain for Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital.
He has received awards that include the YMCA of Greater Buffalo - William Emslie Branch “Outstanding Leadership Award” and Camp Good Days & Special Times “Teddi Award.”
