Telephone Assurance Program (TAP)

The Telephone Assurance Program (TAP) is a free volunteer service that provides regular telephone calls to homebound elderly and disabled persons to check on their well-being, and gives people an opportunity to socialize. Relationships between the volunteers who make the calls and those who are isolated and lonely grow and last for years.

TAP is funded through a grant from the Erie County Department of Senior Services and the New York State Office for the Aging.
