BUFFALO, N.Y., Sept. 30, 2015 - Catholic Charities of Buffalo has been designated a Gold Fit-Friendly Worksite by the American Heart Association, meaning it promotes physical activity and is committed to providing a healthy workplace for its employees.
A Gold designation also means that a workplace offers healthy eating options and promotes a wellness culture.
According to information printed in The Buffalo News, more than 15,000 residents are currently working for 17 companies in the region that have received the American Heart Association designation.
