Performance and Quality Improvement (PQI)

A hallmark of Catholic Charities comprehensive approach to PQI is the promotion of a broad-based, organization-wide process inclusive of staff and stakeholders, as a vital, necessary management tool. The PQI policies and procedures reflect what experts know about what it takes to start, and maintain, a useful quality improvement program. Taken together, the PQI system includes practices that counter the tendency of organizations to place responsibility for quality improvement and results in one or a few individuals. As such, the system recognizes the value of involving staff at all levels of the organization.
