Judith
M. Vogtli, Ph.D., M.Ed., CASAC, CPP
Director - ProjecTruth and Chemical Dependency Services
Judy is responsible for the direction and management of the
Western New York U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Administration for Children and Families (ACF) Community-Based Abstinence Education (CBAE) Program. She also directs Catholic Charites' Chemical Dependency Services.
Judy has a Doctorate Degree in Counselor Education; Masters
Degree in Counseling Psychology; Bachelors Degree in Psychology
and Communications from State University of New York at Buffalo
with Distinction as Magna Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa; as well
as High Honors in Communication. Judy is listed in the National
Registry, Who's Who in Executive and Professionals Registry,
and Who's Who in Counseling and Development Registry.
She is also certified as an Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor
and has a Professional Prevention Credential. Judy is the Vice-President of the New York State Abstinence Until Marriage Coalition (NYSAUMC).
Judy has worked as a Psychotherapist for the past 20 years,
with areas of specialization being sexual abuse survivors,
love addictions, and spirituality in psychotherapy. She also
has experience in marital, family and divorce counseling;
as well as working with Children of Alcoholics and Codependents.
Judy was an Adj. Professor for Canisius College for five years;
hobbies are reading, writing, theatre and travel.

David
A. Hargrave, M.Ed.
Abstinence Educator
Dave introduces Character-based Abstinence Until Marriage
facts to youth in school, extra-curricular, health fairs,
and assembly settings throughout Western New York. He has
also provided mentoring and counseling services within the
community.
Dave graduated in 1978 with a Bachelors Degree in Sociology/Economics
from Ithaca College and a Masters in Education from Canisius
College in May 1997. He has many years of experience with
the YMCA of Greater Rochester and the Boy Scouts of America
in Buffalo. After completion of his Masters Degree, Dave taught
K-8th grade Physical Education, 6th-8th grade health, and
7th grade Mathematics for Sts. Peter and Paul School for four
(4) years in Williamsville. After Dave's parochial school
experience, the Workforce Development Department of Catholic
Charities enticed him to focus his educator skills in helping
students to obtain their GEDs. He worked diligently for three
(3) years teaching life skills, science, and history to the
16-21 age group. Currently, Dave is currently splitting his
time between Erie Community College, where he teaches Physical
Education and Health classes, and ProjecTruth. Dave and his
wife Nancy recently celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary,
and whenever possible, celebrate the lives of their three
(3) grown daughters.
Tina
Jones
Abstinence Educator / Mentor
Tina introduces character-based abstinence until marriage
facts to youth in schools and the community throughout Western
New York. She has also provided mentoring services in the
Southern Tier and has participated in several health and wellness
workshops.
Tina received her Associate of Applied Science Degree in
Human Services from Jamestown Community College and is currently
completing her Bachelor of Arts in Human Development with
Empire State College. Tina also is continuing acceptance at
EmpireState College in the Human Development/Psychology Degree
Graduate program.
Tina has sixteen (16) years experience as Pre-School Director/Teacher
in Jamestown, New York. She has many years experience as a
substitute teacher in Chautauqua and Cattaraugus Counties.
Tina is also a High School Youth Minister and a High School
and Elementary Catachist. Tina is the proud mother of three
teenage children.

Gina M. McCreary, B.A.Ed.
Abstinence Educator
Gina is an abstinence educator who is passionate about reaching into the lives of adolescents and teaching them about the consequences of high-risk behaviors. Gina has a very personal testimony and life story that she shares with students in her efforts to motivate and empower teens to make healthy choices. She affirms that young people who are equipped with the proper “life tools” will attain the confidence and ability to avoid the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual ramifications of rejecting abstinence.
Gina lived in California for 17 years, where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Education at Cal State Channel Islands. She spent many years working with the Simi Valley Crisis Pregnancy Center where she facilitated an abstinence program in the local public and private schools. Gina and her husband served as interim youth pastors at Conejo Valley Congregational Church, where she also counseled and mentored teenage girls.
Gina recently returned to the Buffalo area with her husband Martin and their two teen children. She has been actively involved with the community as a faith-based abstinence speaker and has many years experience serving as a substitute teacher in the Southtowns of Western New York.
Candace
E. McCulloch, LMHC, MSEd
Counselor and Abstinence Educator
Candace is a New York State Licensed Mental Health Counselor who facilitates individual and group counseling with
children and adolescents throughout Buffalo and the Western
New York area. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Education
from SUNY at Fredonia and her Masters of Counseling Education
from St. Bonaventure University.
Since 1988, Candace has been in the Education/Counselor field
at Bryant & Stratton College, Erie 1 BOCES, and other
Southern Tier School Districts. She has facilitated groups
through the Families Working Together Program and volunteers
at Crisis Services.
Candace serves as a member on the Turner Carroll Family Support
Center Advisory Board.
She is also a member of the American Counseling Association,
the New York Counselors Association, and the Western New York
Counseling Association. She is a lifetime member and former
Treasurer of the International Counseling Honor Society, Chi
Sigma Iota.
Janice
McGovern, MS, CAE-I
Outreach Supervisor
Janice is a Certified Abstinence Educator and Counselor through ProjecTruth, promoting Abstinence Until Marriage and Character Education to youth throughout Western New York.
Janice holds a Masters Degree in Counselor Education from
Canisius College and a Bachelors Degree in Child and Youth
Services from Medaille College. Janice has gained 15+ years experience working
with children, youth and families in a variety of setting, which have included working in a children's mental health clinic, domestic violence shelter, and in special education.
Janice is a member of Catholic Charities School-Based Committee.

Ellen
Page, MSEd.
Abstinence Educator
Ellen provides outreach and to schools, churches, community
centers, and businesses throughout the eight counties of Western
New York, along with teaching adolescents the benefits of
sexual abstinence until marriage.
Ellen holds a Masters Degree in Education from State University
of New York at Albany and is certified in Elementary (K-6)
and Art (K-12). Ellen has worked in the field of Education
(both public and private) teaching various grades and subjects
from ages 5 to adult. She has also provided outreach in the
field of eldercare.
Lori
M. Ricupito, Ph.D., Ed.M., M.S., CRC
Supervisor - Substance Abuse Prevention and Counseling(SAPAC) Unit
Lori supervises Clinical Staff persons and trains and supervises
graduate level Interns. She also provides counseling directly
to students in two area schools.
Lori has a Ph.D. in Counselor Education, a Masters Degree
in Counseling and Human Services, and a Masters Degree in
Rehabilitation Counseling - all from the State University
of New York at Buffalo.
Lori has been a Counselor with the SAPAC Program for over
nine years and has been Supervisor for more than a year.

Beverly
A. Ruhland, CAE-I
Certified Abstinence Educator
Beverly introduces Character-based Abstinence Until Marriage
facts to youth in school, extra-curricular, and assembly settings
throughout Western New York. She has also provided information
on ProjecTruth to professionals within the community.
Beverly had utilized her love for teaching by working as
an instructor before joining ProjecTruth. Her enthusiasm for
youth has been demonstrated in her 15 years of volunteer work
in her Parish Religious Education Program. Beverly received
Catechist Certification from the Diocese of Buffalo Department
of Education.
She is a 1991 Graduate of the Supervisory Studies Certificate
Program of Cornell Universities Western District Industrial
Labor Relations School and a 2002 Graduate of Christ the King
Certificate Program in Pastoral Ministries with a concentration
in Youth Ministry. She has participated in various training
courses dealing with adolescent and youth development.
Beverly prides herself in discovering and developing motivational
object lessons for use during her presentations. These lessons
help the youth to grasp the benefits of good character values
and abstinence until marriage.
