Home Treatment

Mental health services are offered to individuals, children through adults, who are unable to access mental health services in a traditional clinic setting through the Community Outreach Treatment Team (COTT).

COTT professionals are trained and sensitive to the needs of the elderly population, persons with physical disabilities, and traumatic brain injured individuals.

Comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and medication management are available through COTT, based out of the Monsignor Carr clinic at 20 Rich St., Buffalo.

Services include:

  • Counseling on such issues as depression, anxiety, panic disorder, schizophrenia, PTSD, and other psychiatric disturbances.
  • Education and monitoring of psychotropic medication.
  • Family education and consultation.
  • Limited case management services to MCI clients.
  • Linkage and referral to other Catholic Charities' and community services.
