Protect. Strengthen. Empower.

It's what we do.

Catholic Charities of Buffalo, NY has been protecting, strengthening and empowering the people of Western New York since 1923. Today, we offer the most comprehensive services of any human service

organization serving all eight counties. Most importantly, we serve those in need and those who are most vulnerable - children, adults, older adults and families - without regard to religion, race or age. Our goal is optimum emotional, mental and physical health for all.

We're known for the expertise and compassion of our staff, a continued focus on positive outcomes and the ability to change as needs change. You can read about some of those great outcomes in Success Stories or view some of our stories here. You will meet individuals whose lives were positively changed following the resources and help they received through Catholic Charities.

We carry out our mission through the support of many - the business community and other community members, and specifically our Catholic parishes, clergy, schools and youth - who generously support the annual Appeal benefiting Catholic Charities and the Fund for the Faith.
