CORE (Creating Opportunities & Restoring Equity)

CORE Program

Catholic Charities' CORE (Creating Opportunities and Restoring Equity) Program is aimed toward assisting those who have been involved in the criminal justice system by offering temporary transitional employment to qualified candidates, along with job coaching and career development.

Services include:

  • Ready, Set, Work! Training
  • Transitional Work
  • Math and Reading Tutoring Services
  • Seeking Safety Sessions
  • Case Management Services
  • Wraparound Services
  • Job Placement Assistance
  • Retention Services

Who qualifies?

Adults ages 18 or older who have been involved in the criminal justice system and could benefit from employment and soft skills training via transitional work experience, case management and workshops.

Transitional work allows participants to gain experience while also earning a wage and the opportunity to work with a case manager and job coach. Through these services, the CORE Program helps remove barriers to becoming stable and ready for permanent employment.
