East Delavan Academy Construction & Trades Training

Catholic Charities of Buffalo Workforce & Education Services and 716 Ministries have joined together to offer the East Delavan Academy Construction & Trades Training Program for individuals ages 18 and older. This is a full-service program, from training to job placement and retention and so much more. Tuition support is available.

The next session begins on May 4, 2020. Please follow the application steps below.

Classes are held Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to noon.

Services include:

  • Hands-on experience
  • Soft Skills Training
  • Employer & Union Training Center Tours   
  • Trades Certifications, such as nationally recognized NCCER (National Center for Construction Education and Research) Certification and OSHA 10 Certification
  • Math & Reading Tutoring Services
  • Case Management and Wraparound Services
  • Job Placement Assistance
  • Retention Services


Entrants must be at least 18 years old and attain a minimum seventh grade level on the TABE (Test of Adult Basic Education)  for Math and Reading. All applicants must take a TABE test in order to be considered for the program.
