BUFFALO, N.Y., July 2, 2015 - Catholic Charities of Buffalo officials and volunteer leaders reported today the 2015 Appeal exceeded its $10.9 million goal, with cash and pledges received as of June 30, the final day of the Appeal and the organization's fiscal year, totaling $11,152,026.31.

BUFFALO, N.Y., May 12, 2015 - With only seven weeks remaining before the close of the 2015 Appeal in support of Catholic Charities of Buffalo, the annual campaign has raised $10,532,335.48 in cash and pledges, representing 96.6 percent of its $10.9 million goal. Appeal leaders are asking the community for their help in raising the remaining $367,663.52 still needed to reach the final goal by June 30.

Less than one month after Appeal Week 2015 ended and less than two weeks after announcing this year's campaign surpassed $9.5 million, Catholic Charities of Buffalo today announced another milestone, reporting the organization has raised 10,096,782.40 in cash and pledges, representing 93 percent of the goal. As a result, volunteers for the annual Appeal must raise $900,000 more to reach this year's $10.9 million goal.

The Most Reverend Richard J. Malone, bishop of Buffalo, today announced a $10.9 million goal for the 2015 Appeal in support of Catholic Charities of Buffalo. Bishop Malone made the announcement at a kick-off event held at Catholic Charities' A Gathering Place, a daily social program for adults 60 years of age and older, 128 Wilson St., Buffalo. The theme for the 2015 Appeal is "Find Good Within" and the patron saint of the 91st annual Appeal is St. Francis of Assisi.
New Food Pantry to Open Jan. 9 in Getzville, a Collaboration of Catholic Charities and Temple Beth Zion

BUFFALO, N.Y., Dec. 31, 2014 - A new food pantry to serve Getzville and Williamsville residents will open Jan. 9 as a collaborative effort of Catholic Charities and Temple Beth Zion. Town Square Food Pantry is located at the Town Square for Aging on the Weinberg Campus, 2710 North Forest Road, Getzville. The site will serve eligible residents of zip codes 14068 and 14221.
