Project Jump Start

Project Jump Start provides attendance intervention and academic or tutoring services to youth who have been involved with the Juvenile Justice System and who have a referral from the Juvenile Justice Division, Family Systems Team (FST), Juvenile Delinquency Services Team (JDST) or Probation Department Juvenile Division.

Working with the youth, family and school, Project Jump Start helps ensure the youth's return to school, improved attendance and achievement of passing grades through face-to-face interventions, school collaboration, individual and group services based on the youth's individual needs.

The program serves youth who reside in Erie County (City of Buffalo, Cheektowaga, Depew, Kenmore, Lackawanna, Lancaster, Tonawanda, West Seneca and Williamsville).

Project Jump Start is a collaboration of services through Catholic Charities Workforce & Education Services and the Erie County Department of Mental Health.
